In an interview with Vogue, Billie Eilish revealed her past, in which she hated herself because of her early puberty. According to Billie, She struggled with a lot of emotions due to puberty when her peers and friends were enjoying their life freely which made her personality more anxious and shy.
She said " In my teenage years, I hated myself a lot. Part of the anger came from the body's early puberty. It caused me a lot of my body's early puberty. It caused me a lot of pain and the loss of many things. I also had a hip injury and could not be able to pursue a career in dance,"
The 21-year-old star said it took her years to pick herself up and fall in love with her body. In the past, she used to wear baggy clothes to combat body shame. But now overcoming that shame and society's judgment, Billie started to wear the clothes she always wanted.
She even challenged herself and wore a gorgeous tight-fitting tulle dress at Met Gala 2021 which complemented her body in just the right way.
She commented on the time when she appeared at Met Gala 2021 mentioning " I was inspired when the famous power designer looked me in the face and said, I want to do something that scares you and get over it," she shared.
